Heroes can be anyone. It can be a police officer in a hostage situation or a pedestrian calling an ambulance because a stranger had a heart attack. The title of a Hero can be achieved by any individual the courage to take action despite the odds that maybe against him or her. A hero to me is anyone willing to help in a moment of terror or when a life maybe on the line. You don't need to be a police officer to prove that you are capable to chase down a suspect or a fireman to demonstrate your achievement in heroism. If you see a man or women trapped in a car what do you do? You don't leave them to be save by some other random on the street, you call 911 and if you can go in there and get him/her out for their safety. That can be heroism for many. Heroes are people who will go out of there way to help his or her fellow beings in a time of peril no matter the risk. Heroes can range from a teen working in a gas station to a troop on the front lines it doesn't matter for they are a person who at a moments notice will cower or take on a challenge head on.
